Frequently asked questions
- Which tool has more token features?
- 20lab. It offers many configurable options, such as dividend tax, wallet tax, anti-bot settings, and permit support, on top of buy and sell tax. TokenSet keeps two templates, Standard and Tax, with a smaller set of options that are easy to understand. Pick based on whether you need those advanced features.
- Can I test before deploying for real?
- 20lab supports free testnet deploys, which is useful for trying settings before going live. TokenSet does not offer a testnet flow yet. On TokenSet, the review screen shows the token's exact resulting settings and costs before you sign, but the deploy itself goes to BNB Smart Chain mainnet.
- How do the pricing models differ?
- Both charge the chain's network fee plus a service fee. 20lab shows its per-deploy fee at the summary step. TokenSet shows the network fee and its service fee on the review screen before you confirm. Fees change over time, so compare the totals each tool shows you when you are ready to create.
- Who owns a token created with either tool?
- In both cases the token is created from your wallet and you receive the supply and owner rights. With TokenSet, the factory sets the creating wallet as owner in the same transaction and keeps no admin rights over the token. You can also choose to renounce ownership at deploy.
